Toddler Tales
A story program for children 19 - 36 months and a caregiver. Stories, songs, finger plays and crafts make up a lively 30 minute program designed especially for short attention spans.

Skip Cain, The Magic Guy
All Ages. Join us for an interactive show filled with magic, comedy, and balloon sculptures.

Early Registration begins May 17th and ends May 23rd. Children will receive a special prize for signing up during this time (no phone registration, please).
Regular Registration begins May 24th and ends July 13th (no phone registration, please). Kids can register at North Shelby Library or at Mt Laurel Library. We will begin stamping Reading Logs on Tuesday, June 1st.The Last Day to get your Reading Logs stamped is July 28th.Logs can be stamped at North Shelby or Mt Laurel.
Saturday, July 31st: Summer Reading End Party @ North Shelby
Each time your Log is stamped, you may put your name in a drawing for a Weekly Prize. One name will be drawn each Friday afternoon at 12:00 p.m. in the Children’s Department at North Shelby for the Weekly Prize, so, make sure to bring in your Log to be stamped no later than 11:45 a.m. each Friday! (Names from Mt Laurel will be taken over to North Shelby for the drawing.)
For each Reading Goal you meet you will also receive 1 Library Dollar. You can spend these dollars in our General Stores. You will be able to buy toys, games, candy, and other cool stuff with your ‘money.’ The General Stores will be open after programs, crafts, and storytimes. The store at North Shelby will be more extensive than the Mt Laurel store.
Children will also earn a Library Dollar by attending any program during the week, such as a performer, a craft, or a storytime.
There is no limit to how many dollars you can accumulate.
You can spend your dollars as you go or save them up for a bigger prize!
Each week a Mysterious Riddle will be posted in the children’s department. If you solve the Riddle correctly you will win a sweet treat!
There will be a Grand Prize Drawing for a BIKE at the Summer Reading End Party on July 31st at North Shelby! The more books you read, the more likely you are to win the bike!
